New Jersey Devils winger Timo Meier had an assist on the team's lone goal in Tuesday's 6-1 hammering by the Hurricanes. Meier set up Jack Hughes for the opening goal with just 1:55 played in the game, but the quick start didn't translate into a good performance by the team. In 17:43 of ice time, Meier also registered one shot goal, a game-high six hits and two penalty minutes. After starting off the postseason with an awful scoreless spell, Meier has picked up points in back-to-back games and appears to be gathering momentum. But unfortunately for him and the Devils, the 2022-23 campaign could be over for the team Thursday, with the Hurricanes having grabbed a 3-1 series lead.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
