Colton Cowser Reverses Cold Start

After starting the season cold, Baltimore Orioles outfield prospect Colton Cowser has reversed his cold streak. After starting the Triple-A season 2-for-24, he has since gone 20-for-49 with nine RBI, seven walks, three home runs, and 18 runs. The 23-year-old has been one of the best hitters in the minor leagues. In 2022, he slashed .278/.406/.469 with 19 home runs, 66 RBI, and 94 walks while ascending from High-A to Triple-A. At the big-league level, the Orioles have the struggling Terrin Vavra and Ryan McKenna taking starts in the outfield. With Cowser's recent hot streak, he is pushing for a spot over those two on the major league roster and is now a priority stash.
