Ottawa Senators goaltender Dylan Ferguson had a spectacular season debut on Monday against the Penguins, backstopping the team to a 2-1 victory with 48 saves. The Senators have Cam Talbot (lower body) and Anton Forsberg (knee) on the shelf and Mads Sogaard has struggled badly, so they went with Ferguson on Monday and he didn't disappoint. It was Ferguson's first career start and his only previous NHL experience had come in 2017 during a stint lasting for 9:14 in a game against the Oilers. Sogaard looks now set to face Boston on Tuesday, but we should see Ferguson again soon.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
