Aric Almirola ended up in the middle of eight Ford cars in the final group of qualifying on Saturday. That is not a bad thing as he starts Atlanta from the fifth position this Sunday afternoon. Almirola and his Stewart-Haas Racing Ford have enjoyed some solid results at super speedways. Again, Atlanta is still behaving like a 2.5-mile track with high bank and hard corners. The 1.54-mile course does wear a little as the race goes along. Last March, Almirola led a few laps and did finish sixth after Stage 2 before fading late to 22nd. Almirola learned his lessons in July and rose up to eighth at Atlanta. Keep that in mind. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
