Detroit Red Wings goaltender Ville Husso will skip Saturday's contest against the Islanders with a minor injury. The team hasn't disclosed what is bothering him, but Husso didn't finish Friday's practice and will take some time off to get healthy again. The 2022-23 campaign has no doubt been a frustrating one for the Finnish netminder, as he's performed well for most of the year but has a poor 23-15-6 record. Husso is among the league leaders with three shutouts but also sits on a lackluster 2.95 goals-against average and has produced a .903 save percentage. Magnus Hellberg, who is 4-5-1 for the season, looks set to start on Saturday.--Taavi Pailk
