Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Ilya Samsonov grabbed his 16th victory of the season Wednesday against the Rangers when Mitchell Marner scored early in overtime to make it 3-2. The Russian netminder was beaten twice by only Filip Chytil in the second period, finishing with 27 saves. He is now 16-4-2 for the season and a fantastic 14-0-1 on home ice. Samsonov has become the fourth goalie in Maple Leafs history to record a 15-game home point streak. His lone home defeat came against St. Louis in a shootout with a 6-5 scoreline earlier in the month. Two of Samsonov's regulation losses came in October, so he's really enjoyed a superb run of form for quite a while now and it's made Matt Murray a spectator for most nights in recent weeks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
