Montreal Canadiens winger Evgenii Dadonov scored twice in Tuesday's 4-1 victory over Winnipeg. He reached four goals for the season with a pair of second-period strikes. Dadonov ended a 15-game goal drought and moved to 12 points. As the numbers show, 2022-23 has been a very rough campaign for Dadonov, and he's well off his career average pace of 0.61 points per game. However, with 10 points earned since the start of last month, the veteran winger has found some form and should have a bigger part to play going forward after Montreal announced that the trio of Joel Armia (upper body), Jake Evans (lower body) and Juraj Slafkovsky (lower body) has been placed on Injured Reserve.--Taavi Pailk
