The Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill "has been gathering information on candidates and figuring out how he would run the process" if he were to shake up the coaching staff this offseason, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. While head coach Kliff Kingsbury has not been informed about any decision regarding his job status for 2023, Arizona is at least doing its due diligence as the season winds down. The Cardinals went 11-6 last season, prompting ownership to extend Kliff Kingsbury through 2027. However, one year later, the Cardinals are in the basement of the NFC West with a 4-12 record and could be looking to make sweeping changes, starting at head coach and general manager. If the Cardinals do move on from Kingsbury, Rapoport suggested former Saints head coach Sean Payton and current Cardinals defensive coordinator Vance Joseph could be candidates to take over. Presumably, Arizona would be one of the more attractive vacancies for prospective hires.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerRead More News
