Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Ilya Samsonov (knee) is still recovering from injury and needs more time off. The Russian netminder has participated in some practice sessions, but he wasn't on the ice on Friday and will miss a seventh consecutive game Saturday versus Buffalo. Samsonov had a very solid start to the season, going 6-2-0, before injuring his knee on Nov. 5. Erik Kallgren was able to get in some good action in Samsonov's place, but Matt Murray has since then recovered from injury and will make a third consecutive start Saturday. He returned from injury Tuesday with a strong 35-save performance against Pittsburgh but is only 1-1-1 for the year.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
