Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos collected two assists as the team crushed Washington 6-3 on Sunday. Both of his assists -- one on the power play -- came in the first period which Tampa won 4-0. The Lightning captain posted an outstanding plus-three rating and even helped out on the defensive side of things by getting two blocks and one hit in 15:13 of ice time. Stamkos is off to a solid start to the season, averaging a point per game through 15 contests, but he has been having a quiet spell in recent times. However, the veteran sniper can get hot at any time, and Sunday was a good sign that Stamkos is gearing up for a scoring run.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
