Washington Capitals right wing Connor Brown has undergone reconstructive surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee, and he is set to miss six to eight months. Brown will sit out a seventh consecutive game Tuesday against Vegas and it sadly looks like he is done for the whole regular season. Washington had high hopes for him as Brown filled in for Tom Wilson (knee) on the top line at the start of the year, but he ended up going scoreless in four games before getting sidelined. Conor Sheary has taken over the right-wing spot on the first line, and he's been doing well, scoring four goals and recording three assists in 10 appearances this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
