In the biggest victory of his career thus far, Max Griffin earned a split decision over long-time veteran Tim Means in Saturday's co-main event of action. In 15 minutes of action, Griffin tallied 42 significant strikes (56 total strikes) and was out-struck in the total-strikes department by 87. Griffin also earned three takedowns on six tries, including a big knockdown in the first round. The veteran Means fought back but was unable to overtake Griffin on the judges' scorecards. The win gives Griffin four wins in his last five contests and has him set to continue to see tougher competition.--Matt Bricker
