Panthers Working Out Cam'ron Harris Monday

The Carolina Panthers are working out free-agent running back Cam'Ron Harris on Monday, according to a source. The Panthers are looking for a little extra depth at the position after Chuba Hubbard (ankle) missed the Week 8 overtime loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. In Hubbard's absence, D'Onta Foreman went off for 26 carries, 118 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the 37-34 loss. Spencer Brown was second on the team with six carries for 27 yards, while rookie Raheem Blackshear only carried the ball twice for one yard. Hubbard's injury isn't believed to be very serious, so he could be back in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals to provide a change of pace alongside Foreman.
