The Atlanta Falcons defense struggled in the team's 37-34 Week 8 win over the Carolina Panthers. While Lorenzo Carter did have an interception he returned for a touchdown, the rest of the defense struggled. They had only one sack in the game and no other turnovers. Furthermore, Atlanta surrendered 30 or more points for the second week in a row and the third time this season. More importantly, they had no answer for D'Onta Foreman and DJ Moore. The Carolina duo had 273 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns in Week 8. Hopefully, the Falcons will get star cornerback AJ Terrell (hamstring) back in Week 9 for their matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.--Mike Fanelli
