Philadelphia Flyers winger James van Riemsdyk is set to go under the knife later this week to repair a broken finger. He is expected to miss around a month of action. The veteran goal-scorer was injured Sunday against San Jose, after having enjoyed a very strong start to the season with two goals and three assists across five games. Three of his point came on the power play. With van Riemsdyk out of commission, there will be a lot of power-play time available for others, as the 33-year-old has averaged 3:09 of ice time with the man advantage this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
