Arizona Coyotes forward Nick Schmaltz (upper body) has been ruled out for six to eight weeks. The 26-year-old was injured last week in the team's season opener against Pittsburgh and he has already missed one game. Being without a player who averaged nearly a point per game last season is obviously a massive blow for the Coyotes. Lawson Crouse has stepped up to a first-line role and it looks like he's set to play a big part in the team's offense for a while now. The 25-year-old power forward has gone pointless in two games so far, but he showcased good ability last term with 20 goals and 34 points in 65 outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
