DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Thursday 10/13 - Week 7 Daily College Fantasy Football

John Rhys Plumlee - CFB DFS Lineup Picks, Daily College Fantasy Football, NFL Draft

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Thursday Week 7 (10/13/22). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We finally have a Thursday night college football slate again! We got a one-game warmup last night, but tonight features two really good games. DraftKings wasn't throwing games in here just to get a slate together. We get something that promises to be more interesting than the NFL slog going on tonight.

Both games start at the same time, so we have a nice, no-holds-barred, four-hour tilt-fest. Who's as pumped about this as I am? We have Baylor heading to Morgantown and Temple heading down to the Bounce House. There are a lot of good options for such a small slate, am I right?

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/13/22 locking at 7:00 pm eastern time. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

John Rhys Plumlee, Central Florida ($8,500)

I'm not all that worried that Plumlee has struggled at times this year. The Owls are nowhere near as good as the defenses of Georgia Tech and Louisville. JRP's dual-threat ability is going to be on full display tonight. 300 passing yards and 100 rushing are very possible in this one along with a couple of touchdowns. We might see close to a ceiling game like he had against Florida Atlantic back in Week 3.

Blake Shapen, Baylor ($6,100)

Shapen looked good against Oklahoma State before the bye, so I think he'll be fine against the Mountaineers here. If you're only using one quarterback, I might not anchor it with Shapen. The upside on Plumlee is way too high. However, Shapen is one of the better options at superflex unless you're gambling with Warner against UCF's soft backend in a GPP.

Also consider: JT Daniels, West Virginia ($6,600); E.J. Warner, Temple ($5,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Richard Reese, Baylor ($5,400)

Reese has emerged as the feature back in Baylor's backfield and has the best matchup amongst running backs on this slate. Reese has 57 carries over the last three games and has caught six passes in that span with five touchdowns. Reese can do just about anything the Bears ask and he seems underpriced in a matchup like this. I see no reason to pay the extra money for Bowser since Plumlee caps his upside and Temple has been solid against the run this year.

Johnny Richardson, Central Florida ($4,500)

Richardson is a bit of a risk since he is usually only on the field for passing downs, but that's what I want from the UCF backfield. Richardson has 11 receptions in five games and has scored his only touchdown of the season through the air. The UCF backs could find tough sledding against the Owls, so I'll take the guy with the reception upside.

Also consider: Isaiah Bowser, Central Florida ($6,900); Tony Mathis, West Virginia ($5,200); Darvon Hubbard, Temple ($3,500)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Bryce Ford-Wheaton, West Virginia ($7,100)

You've heard me say it many times: volume is king for receivers. Ford-Wheaton is by far the most targeted receiver for West Virginia and could be in for an even bigger night with CJ Donaldson out. Forget the Virginia Tech game. That was a disaster for the Mountaineers' passing attack. BFW dominated against Pitt, Kansas, and Texas. He should have another strong game against Baylor.

Monaray Baldwin, Baylor ($6,500)

Shapen had by far his best game of the season against Oklahoma State and Baldwin was a big reason why. He hauled in seven passes for 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Bears have been looking for a big-play receiver to take some of the heat off the run game. I think they found it. They had to wait a month, but I don't think Baldwin's big game against Oklahoma State was a fluke.

Kaden Prather, West Virginia ($5,100)

Prather rarely gets downfield like Ford-Wheaton does, but he's a great possession receiver. He's the guy that Daniels looks to on short routes to help bail him out. Prather has at least six receptions in four straight games. That's a lot of free points for a value receiver. Don't expect high yardage totals, but he has snuck in the end zone twice in those four games.

Adonicas Sanders, Temple ($4,200)

Sanders has 16 receptions in the three games since Warner took over as the starter. 248 of his 293 receiving yards on the season have come during that span. I do think that Temple is going to be able to score some points here. Sanders may not score, but he'll be instrumental in getting them down there. There's a lot of upside for a very low price.

Also consider: Ryan O'Keefe, Central Florida ($7,500); Javon Baker, Central Florida ($7,200); Sam James, West Virginia ($5,500); Ben Sims, Baylor ($4,300)
