DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Friday Week 6 Daily College Fantasy Football (10/7)

Casey Thompson - CFB DFS Lineup Picks, Daily College Fantasy Football, NFL Draft Rookies

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Friday Week 6 (10/7/22). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

This is going to be a blast of a Friday night! We have a four-game appetizer before Saturday's monster day of college football once again. These aren't just FCS teams that no one cares about. We kick this off in Piscataway where the revitalized Cornhuskers take on Rutgers. A half-hour later, Houston kicks off in Memphis.

The left coast brings us more action three hours later. We have Colorado State heading all the way to Reno to take on the Wolf Pack. We end this with UNLV in San Jose to take on the Spartans. We have the old WAC vibe tonight along with former CUSA foes tangling. Let's have some fun with this!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/7/22 locking at 7:00 pm eastern time. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Seth Henigan, Memphis ($7,200)

This Houston defense has been torched this year, particularly through the air. Keep in mind that they played a Kansas team who ran it with success on them as well. They also played a Tulane team on their third-string quarterback. Henigan has had slow days through the air in the last two games, but he does have 114 rushing yards in that span. We saw Henigan throw all over Arkansas State and Navy in the weeks before that. I expect he'll do the same to Houston here.

Casey Thompson, Nebraska ($6,700)

Thompson rebounded nicely from a disaster against Oklahoma. It wasn't just him. The whole team was a mess in that game. What we saw against Indiana was a different Nebraska team. This is their first road game of the season, but I expect Thompson to keep putting up solid numbers. The week off did wonders for the Cornhuskers on both sides of the ball.

Also consider: Doug Brumfield, UNLV ($7,800); Chevan Cordeiro, San Jose State ($7,000); Nate Cox, Nevada ($6,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Aidan Robbins, UNLV ($7,300)

The Lobos made Robbins work for every yard, but he still put up a strong stat line. The San Jose State run defense has had their issues despite a solid game against Wyoming's Titus Swen last week. Robbins hasn't been under 15 DraftKings points in a game all season. That includes games against Cal and North Texas. I like Robbins to keep that streak alive at the very least in this one.

Toa Taua, Nevada ($6,400)

Taua has disappeared off of fantasy radars after being locked up by Iowa and phased out in a negative game script against Air Force. He should get back on track against a Colorado State team that has allowed 162.8 rushing yards per game this year. Taua started off the season with back-to-back 100-yard games. I think he gets back on that train.

Also consider: Anthony Grant, Nebraska ($6,800); Brandon Campbell, Houston ($6,400); Kairee Robinson, San Jose State ($5,500)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Nathaniel Dell, Houston ($7,900)

Team dysfunction doesn't always trump natural talent. Dell has still topped 22 DraftKings points in every game but the Kansas game. Dell has three touchdowns over the last two games, so it seems that Clayton Tune is back to looking for his best receiver in the red zone again. That's great news for us DFS players. Tulane didn't let Dell record a catch of more than 18 yards, but he still scored twice. Dell is going to get his no matter what the game looks like.

Trey Palmer, Nebraska ($6,900)

Palmer is the guy that Thompson is looking for of late. He had strong games in the first two games of the season, but since the firing of Scott Frost, Palmer has 18 receptions for 249 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It's not a fluke. Mickey Joseph was his receivers coach at LSU and followed him north to Nebraska. We are seeing Thomson and Palmer develop a rapport which could lead to even bigger numbers going forward.

Tory Horton, Colorado State ($6,200)

Horton is the only Rams player that I would even think about rostering here. Yes, Nevada's defense has been touched up, but this Colorado State offense is a comedy of errors. They only scored ten freaking points on Sacramento State! Horton has scored all but one Rams touchdown on the season and has more receiving yards than the next seven receivers on the team combined. He is the target hog of all target hogs.

Elijah Cooks, San Jose State ($5,200)

It has been Cooks, not fellow Nevada transfer Justin Lockhart, that has become the favorite target of Chevan Cordeiro. Cooks had a monster game against Wyoming after going dormant against Western Michigan and Auburn. The UNLV defense allowed some big strikes to New Mexico and they don't have anyone nearly as talented as Cooks. He has the potential for another big game at a very reasonable price.

Also consider: Kyle Williams, UNLV ($6,700); Aron Cruickshank, Rutgers ($4,800); Charles Ross, San Jose State ($4,400); Caden Prieskorn, Memphis ($4,100)
