Matt Bush Steps In For Second Save Of Season Tuesday
Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Matt Bush earned his second save of the season and his first with his new team in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Rays. Bush came in to protect a two-run lead and delivered a 1-2-3 inning with two strikeouts. MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reported that Devin Williams needed a day of rest after his heavy workload recently and Taylor Rogers (knee) was unavailable due to a cortisone injection in his knee. Bush has pitched well overall this season with a 3.38 ERA and an 11.03 K/9 rate, but his fantasy value now remains very limited with both Williams and Rogers ahead of him in terms of closing responsibilities.
