Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (foot) was removed from Wednesday's contest against the Minnesota Twins. The 27-year-old fouled a ball off his foot in the fourth inning of the game and showed some discomfort after the incident. He initially remained in the game and even took another at-bat, but Josh Harrison eventually replaced him in the seventh inning. Moncada finished the day going 1-for-3 with a single. After his removal, he underwent X-rays and they came back negative. The team has labeled his injury as a bruised right foot and he is being considered day-to-day.
