Kevon Looney Getting Attention Ahead Of Free Agency
Kevon Looney has already begun to receive attention, with the Charlotte and Sacramento emerging as potential landing spots. The veteran played every game in 2021-22, starting 80 of them. Overall, he was a reliable presence for the Warriors and filled in admirably for James Wiseman (knee), who missed the entire year. Yet, the 26-year-old thrived throughout the postseason by averaging 7.6 boards, 5.8 points, and 2.2 assists. It will be difficult for the Dubs to scrounge up the cash to keep him, especially with the franchise hoping to secure Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, and others moving ahead. As a result, there's a good chance Looney will suit up elsewhere next season and could be an even sturdier option for category managers looking for rebounds.
