Pablo Lopez Allows Four Home Runs Tuesday
Miami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez wasn't at his best Tuesday when he was hit with the loss after allowing four runs on nine hits in the 4-0 game against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays hit three home runs off the left-hander, although he did fan eight batters without walking anyone. Lopez has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this year, compiling a 4-2 record with a 2.04 ERA, 56 strikeouts, and a 0.96 WHIP over nine starts. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, expected to come against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.
