New York Islanders goaltender Semyon Varlamov will sit out Sunday's contest against Toronto with an illness. The veteran netminder has caught a stomach bug and is currently being kept away from the team. Varlamov has put together a 9-15-2 record this season, with six of his wins coming since the start of last month. Ilya Sorokin, who is 25-15-7 for the year, will get his 48th start on Sunday. He's just posted his seventh shutout of the season against Montreal and has some really strong numbers with a 2.29 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage. However, Toronto has lit up a lot of goalies lately, and picking Sorokin for Sunday's action might not be a smart choice for fantasy managers.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
