Boston Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo sustained an undisclosed injury in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to St. Louis, leaving the game after skating for just 4:48. He's set to be re-evaluated on Wednesday before the team provides an update. Carlo boasts only 15 points for the season, but he's a big presence for the Bruins on the defensive end. The 25-year-old has recorded 128 hits and 93 blocks in 71 games. His absence will be a painful blow, especially with Hampus Lindholm (lower body) and Matt Grzelcyk (upper body) also dropping out of the lineup lately. As a result of all the injuries, Derek Forbort has teamed up with Charlie McAvoy on the first defensive pairing and Mike Reilly is also getting a heavy dose of action.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
