Detroit Red Wings goaltender Thomas Greiss suffered an upper-body injury in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders and couldn't make it to the end of the game. The former Islander was involved in a collision with Oliver Wahlstrom six minutes before the final break and he initially managed to carry on, but Alex Nedeljkovic replaced him for the third period. Greiss allowed three goals on 16 shots and Nedeljkovic didn't do much better with two goals given up on 10 shots. It's not been a fun season for Greiss in Mo-Town, with the German veteran registering an 8-11-1 record with a 3.79 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage. Nedeljkovic has grabbed most of the starts and Greiss could now be without game action for a while if he suffered a serious injury.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
