Florida Panthers forward Claude Giroux made a very good debut for the team on Thursday, collecting two assists in a 4-3 victory over Montreal. He was plus-two for the night with four shots and one hit in 17:13 of action. Giroux needed just 36 seconds of action to get his first point as a Panther as he combined with fellow debutant Robert Hagg to set up Aleksander Barkov. His second helper came on the power play 7:20 into the third period when Sam Reinhart scored the eventual game-winning goal. Giroux's fantasy stock has gotten a big boost and we should expect plenty of fireworks from him for the rest of the way.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
