Minnesota Wild defenseman Jacob Middleton could make his debut for the team on Thursday when they host the Vancouver Canucks. The 26-year-old blueliner was acquired by Minnesota at the trade deadline from the San Jose Sharks. Middleton is a versatile defenseman that can play anywhere in the lineup and be an asset to the Wild's penalty kill. He isn't a big goal-scorer however, finding the back of the net just three times in 45 games played this season. Wild fans will quickly fall in love with this newcomer's grit and panache, but he doesn't give much in the way of fantasy value.--Chelena Goldman
