Domantas Sabonis Exits Sunday’s Game With Knee Injury
Domantas Sabonis (knee) was forced to leave Sunday's game vs. the Suns due to a left knee ailment that he sustained after bumping knees. Prior to his exit, Sabonis reeled off another double-double, accumulating 18 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists across his 31 minutes, attempting just eight shots. Any absence from Sabonis would pave the way for Chimezie Metu and Damian Jones to see elevated frontcourt minutes, while Trey Lyles would take on a larger workload. Sabonis has two days off to heal up before a meeting Wednesday with his former team, Indiana, with whom he spent the past four and a half seasons.
