Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race DFS DraftKings, FanDuel Picks

Its time to crank up your old Walkman portable CD Player and blare "All-Star" by Smash Mouth because its officially All-Star race week in Charlotte! This race showcases NASCAR's top drivers for one of the most exciting races of the year. Each driver is competing for a chance to win one million dollars, and with that kind of purse on the line, it's safe to say things could get dicey. In this race there are three stages starting with 30 laps and following up with two 20 lap stages. The final stage (The Shootout) will be 15 laps and the winner walks away with the fat cash bag.

There are few different ways a driver can qualify for the All-Star race. If you have won a points event in 2018 or 2019 or have won a previous All-Star Race will get you in. If  a driver has won a NASCAR Championship and races full time they are also good to go. The other way o get in based on performance is by winning a stage in Saturday's Monster Energy Open. The last way is solely based on popularity, with the fans allowing them to vote on one driver to be entered.

2019 All-Star Race - Starting Lineup

  1. (#14) Clint Bowyer - Ford
  2. (#18) Kyle Busch - Toyota
  3. (#4) Kevin Harvick - Ford
  4. (#3) Austin Dillon - Chevrolet
  5. (#19) Martin Truex Jr - Toyota
  6. (#6) Ryan Newman - Ford
  7. (#20) Erik Jones - Toyota
  8. (#48) Jimmie Johnson - Chevrolet
  9. (#12) Ryan Blaney - Ford
  10. (#22) Joey Logano - Ford
  11. (#9) Chase Elliott - Chevrolet
  12. (#11) Denny Hamlin - Toyota
  13. (#10) Aric Almirola - Ford
  14. (#2) Brad Keselowski - Ford
  15. (#1) Kurt Busch - Chevrolet

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel

Ryan Blaney #12 (DraftKings $8,100 | FanDuel $8,500)

I have hated to see Ryan Blaney endure the luck he's had so far this year ,but this could be one hell of a resurgence race for Blaney to get his confidence back (and his pockets full). Blaney's Ford Mustang did extremely well in both practices with a top speed of 178.560. If he can tame his wild horse and drive it with purpose he'll have no issue serving you a solid points line.

Clint Bowyer #14 (DraftKings $7,200 | FanDuel $9,500)

All I can say is WOW after watching Bowyer put on a show in qualifying. Bowyer set the pole with a speed of 136.371 and finished both practices in third. Bowyer is low priced on both sites and when looking at his history on the track you can see why. With all the changes I see Clint holding strong through this race and even though his sponsor unfollowed me on Twitter, I'll still be plugging in that Toco Warranty Ford Mustang in my lineups.

Austin Dillon #3 (DraftKings $5,800 | FanDuel $5,500)

Richard Childress Racing has really turned a corner this week with its cars. After watching Daniel Hemric get the pole for the Monster Energy Open and Dillon qualifying fourth, I'm sold on backing him for fantasy lineups this weekend. Dillon also bagged his first victory in Charlotte which could put him in a confident head space. With Chevrolet turning a nice corner coming to the midway point of the season, be ready to see RCR closing in on a victory.

Kevin Harvick #4 (DraftKings $9,800 | FanDuel $13,000 )

Harvick was last year's All-Star Race winner, and honestly his Millennial Busch Beer Ford is very fast. After putting up a speed of 177.468 in practice, qualifying third and almost hitting a pit crew member; I'm looking for K Harv to get himself a Top 5 finish. Harvick has finished with two Top 10s at the site in 2017 and SHR is looking like they are ready to attack the pack in Charlotte. Be sure to yell YEET when he gets you solid fantasy production in that pink car.
