Yahoo MLB DFS Advice (4/6/17): Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks

Happy Thursday!  With nine afternoon games and four evening games there's a healthy slate of games. Yahoo has some great value options to choose from for DFS games so let's get down to business.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for Yahoo on 4/6/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on Yahoo.

You can read our FanDuel and DraftKings DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @justinrklein.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on Yahoo

Washington Nationals vs Tom Koehler at Nationals Park in Washington, DC. Koehler is a below average SP and I like the Nationals hitters in this matchup. Not only do they have an abundance of LHH that should fare well, but they also have the most HR friendly park to RHH. That means I like Harper, Eaton and Murphy, but I also like Turner and Rendon.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on Yahoo

Brandon McCarthy vs SD ($31)

Brandon McCarthy is a fun GPP play as he posted a 9.90 K.9 last season and is a good bet to rack up the K's against the lowly Padres offense at home in the spacious confines of Dodgers Stadium on Thursday. Not only that, but McCarthy is a big favorite to win as well. At just $31 it's too hard to pass up that kind of an upside play.

Matt Harvey vs ATL ($40)

Matt Harvey appears to be totally healthy and has been hitting the high nineties with his fastball of late, so I'm obviously intrigued by that. While it's just one start I am curious to see how the Dark Knight fares. Because that start is against the Braves in New York I have high hopes and I can't help but expect a good amount of points.

DFS Infielders to Consider on Yahoo

Catcher (C) - Yasmani Grandal  vs SD ($15)

Not only does Yasmani slug 58 points higher at home, but he's tallied 58 of his 69 HR in his career against RHP. On Thursday he'll face a RHP at home at Dodgers Stadium.

First Base (1B) - Brandon Belt at AZ ($16)

As I noted in the opening day version of this article Brandon Belt loves to face LHP and his favorite place to play is Chase Field in Arizona. On Thursday he'll do both of those things simultaneously, so make sure to join me and get him into your lineups.

Second Base (2B) - Jose Peraza vs PHI ($13)

Jose Peraza gets to face Clay Buchholz at home at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday. If you need more then that you should consider that Peraza has notched a .320 batting average against RHP in his career along with 15 of his 24 stolen bases.

Shortstop (SS) - Corey Seager vs SD ($22)

Corey Seager is expensive on Thursday, but worth paying up for as he faces Jered Weaver at home at Dodgers Stadium. Not only is Weaver fairly bad these days, but Corey has mashed RHP as he's posted a .962 OPS against them across 162 games played. Also worth noting is that Seager slugs 124 points higher at home then on the road.

Third Base (3B) - Jake Lamb - vs SF ($16)

Last season Jake Lamb demolished RHP to the tune of a .552 SLG and hit 25 of his 29 HR against northpaws. Also worth noting is that Lamb slugged .586 at home, or 155 points higher then on the road. On Thursday Lamb will face a RHP at home at the hitter's paradise of Chase Field. His moderate price tag goes well with his fantastic matchup.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on Yahoo

Bryce Harper vs MIA ($23) - Harper owns Tom Koehler as he's managed to pound out 11 hits in the 32 at bats where they've faced off. Of those 11 hits six of them have gone over the face for a home run. That's one home run in every 5.33 at bats. Seems like a good spot to go with the best young power hitter in baseball.

Adam Duvall vs PHI ($15) - Duvall had the quietest 30/100 season that I can remember last year as he went 33/103 while notching an impressive .257 ISO. If those 33 HR 26 of them came against RHP and Adam will face RHP Clay Buccholz at the band box known as Citizen's Bank Park on Thursday.
