Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 14:

Omarion Hampton, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers rookie first-round running back Omarion Hampton (ankle) said again on Thursday that he feels great and is eager to get back on the field, according to Kris Rhim of ESPN. "If it's up to me. I'll always play, but I got to wait for the doc. Whatever they say goes," Hampton said.

The 22-year-old North Carolina alum resumed practicing last week for the first time since fracturing his ankle in Week 5. Hampton was limited in the first practice this week on Thursday, but he's trending toward coming off Injured Reserve and playing on Monday night versus the visiting Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy managers who have been stashing the explosive rookie back all this time have to be excited for his impending return, but against a tough Eagles defense and in a potential timeshare with Kimani Vidal in his first game back, Hampton profiles as more of an RB3/flex if he's active in Week 14.

Chimere Dike, WR, Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Chimere Dike (quad) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday as the Titans prepare to face the Cleveland Browns. Dike played his normal snap share in Week 13, so his being limited in practice indicates it's due to rest and not actual injury.

While the fourth-round pick has been a contributing factor in the receiving game, he has really been special as a return man in 2025. Dike currently leads the NFL in kick return yards (1282), punt return yards (361), and touchdowns (2).

With the season-ending injury to receiver Calvin Ridley, Dike has played 79% and 76% of the snaps in the past two weeks. Thursday and Friday's practice reports will be key in determining Dike's status, but he's looking likely to play against the Browns.

RJ Harvey, RB, Denver Broncos

When asked on Wednesday about running back RJ Harvey, Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton hinted that the rookie has not yet been fully unleashed and has a "rare running skill set." "There's that saying, 'You haven't seen anything yet,'" Payton noted to reporters.

The 24-year-old has kept his fantasy value afloat with touchdowns while finding little room to work on the ground. Fortunately, Harvey has carved out a decent role in the passing game, picking up at least three targets in all but four outings. Payton's insinuation suggests the rookie is set to take off like a rocket ship, but he'll need to improve his efficiency as a rusher before that becomes a reality.

Even with all that said, Harvey's workload has remained steady, and he has the athletic profile to be a successful NFL and fantasy asset. Look for him to continue improving this Sunday in a road clash with the Raiders. He's a high-end RB2 for that outing.

Kyle Monangai, RB, Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai (ankle) was upgraded to a limited participant in Thursday's practice session after missing Wednesday, according to the team's official website.

Monangai returned to practice on Thursday and should be good to go for Sunday's pivotal matchup against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The rookie seventh-rounder has scored in four consecutive games and has emerged as a viable flex play in Chicago's dominant run game.

Monangai has totalled 53 carries for 229 yards and four touchdowns, along with one reception (three targets) for 14 yards over the past four games as he splits carries with D'Andre Swift.

Jayden Higgins, WR, Houston Texans

Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Jayden Higgins has quietly built a fantasy starting role in recent weeks. In the past four games, Higgins has hauled in 20 of 28 targets for 200 yards and two touchdowns, including his career high in yardage in Week 13 with C.J. Stroud back under center.

While star receiver Nico Collins will continue to handle the bulk of the targets in Houston, Higgins has been a sturdy option as well. The Texans face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14, who just allowed big games to George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb in Week 13. Higgins is a low-end starting option against the defending AFC champions.

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins carried the ball 23 times for 91 yards while catching all three of his targets for 18 yards and rushing for a two-point conversion in a 26-8 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. Judkins continued to dominate the Cleveland backfield as Dylan Sampson got just four carries and was the only other running back to take a handoff for the Browns.

Judkins has been excellent in his rookie season, rushing for 758 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games thus far. He will be a low-end RB1 in fantasy in Week 14's home game against the Tennessee Titans.

Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten recorded his fifth touchdown of the season in his team's Week 13 win over the Tennessee Titans, but he recorded just 19 scrimmage yards on nine touches. After his breakout 74-yard game in Week 11, Tuten has now been held under 20 scrimmage yards in back-to-back weeks.

The 23-year-old has flashed upside throughout the year, but he remains firmly behind Travis Etienne Jr. in the Jaguars backfield pecking order. Still, Tuten has scored three touchdowns in his last five games and would immediately profile as a must-start fantasy running back if Etienne Jr. were to suffer an injury. Tuten's standalone value is as a low-end flex, at best.

However, he's worth targeting on the waiver wire as a priority handcuff option heading into Jacksonville's Week 14 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
