Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 12:
Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III could be in line to see more work out of the backfield moving forward after he eclipsed 100 scrimmage yards in the Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, according to Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune. Head coach Mike Macdonald said that Walker is "showing that he's earning more opportunities to get the ball."
"I think you really felt Ken (Sunday)," Macdonald said. "And just, even in the pass game, too, on check-downs, finding him late in the play. Just shows you that he's such an explosive player with the ball in his hands." The 25-year-old has played 22 more offensive snaps than Zach Charbonnet in the last three weeks and has just been more efficient with the ball in his hands in 2025 than his backfield mate.
Charbonnet is going to remain involved, but Macdonald's words could mean that Walker will start seeing a bigger piece of the pie, starting in a great Week 12 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Sean Tucker, RB, Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker exploded in Week 11 with 140 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns. He out-touched backfield mate, Rachaad White, 19-10, and has looked like the better, more efficient runner the past few weeks. Head coach Todd Bowles mentioned on Monday that "it's hard to say" if running back Sean Tucker will see more playing time even when Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) comes back, according to the Pewter Report.
It appears the Bucs may go with a hot-hand approach in the backfield while Irving remains out. Regardless, this Week 12 matchup is brutal for whoever the Bucs plan to roll out there. The Los Angeles Rams are tough against opposing running backs, ranking third overall in the fewest points allowed to the position.
The positives for Tucker are that he may have overtaken White's early-down work, and, as a result, Tucker will remain in the RB3/flex conversations this week, assuming Irving is still not able to play. If Irving does play, Tucker should remain on fantasy managers' benches.
Alec Pierce, WR, Colts
Before his team's Week 11 bye, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce appeared to be on a clear upward trajectory. Across four games from Week 7 to Week 10, the 25-year-old recorded 17 catches for 366 yards and a touchdown on 35 targets. Pierce has always been a big-play threat, averaging 18.2 yards per reception across 57 career games.
However, his 6.5 target-per-game average in 2025 is a career-high and represents a change in his role within the Indianapolis offense. If he can continue to marry explosiveness with more consistent target volume, Pierce could be a true breakout wide receiver down the stretch of the season. In fantasy leagues where he may have been dropped during his bye week, Pierce is a must-add player off the waiver wire, even as the Colts head into a difficult Week 12 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Stefon Diggs, WR. Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs caught nine of his 11 targets for 105 yards during Thursday's Week 11 victory over the New York Jets. The 31-year-old has been terrific lately, and even though his three-game touchdown streak came to an end Thursday, he still has five consecutive games with 10+ fantasy points (PPR).
Diggs was on the field for 69.7 percent of the snaps in the victory, eclipsing his previous season-high by more than six percentage points. The increased involvement is a promising sign for fantasy managers, and so, too, is his continued success. The Patriots are on a roll, and their top pass catcher should continue to be deployed as a high-end WR2 heading into next week's battle against the Cincinnati Bengals.
