Who should I start for Week 18? Fantasy football outlooks for Jauan Jennings, Courtland Sutton, Michael Pittman Jr. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.
The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Receivers' main job of catching the football leads to them scoring more points per touch, and those WRs that consistently get high volume can produce great results with a strong floor.
Not every WR is like this, though, and unfortunately, their production can be more vulnerable to unforeseen circumstances like quarterback injuries and matchups against elite defensive players.
We'll try to cut through the noise for you and give you the best recommendations on who to start among San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings, Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton, and Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr.

Should I Start Jauan Jennings for Fantasy Football?
Probably not. It's simply difficult to see him having much upside because his starting quarterback, Brock Purdy (elbow) has been ruled out for Week 18. Even with Purdy, since Week 12, Jennings has only eclipsed double-digit PPR fantasy points once, in a 28.0 explosion against the Chicago Bears.
Cool design here to get Jauan Jennings lined up against a linebacker. Could have easily been a 62-yard TD but he had to wait on the throw. pic.twitter.com/Z8SYWCdAfy

The entire offense has been inconsistent due to injuries, and the state of the offensive line makes it hard to trust them to give their backup QB much time to throw. We'd probably bench Jennings this week.
Should I Start Courtland Sutton for Fantasy Football?
Yes. The Broncos may need to win this game to get into the playoffs, as the Cincinnati Bengals are nipping at their heels. If Denver loses and the Bengals win, then the Broncos could find themselves left out of the postseason altogether. And Sutton has been quarterback Bo Nix's No. 1 target this season.

Last game, he caught five of his nine targets for 55 yards and a touchdown. There is no reason to bench him.
Should I Start Michael Pittman Jr. for Fantasy Football?
It seems like he's mostly healthy now, and with starting quarterback Anthony Richardson (back) not able to play in Week 16, Pittman had a huge game catching passes from backup QB Joe Flacco. MPJr caught nine of his 10 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the New York Giants.

And the Colts will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18, who have a historically terrible pass defense. Flacco wants to prove to NFL teams that he can still play, Pittman wants to get on track, and the Jags probably want to secure the best draft pick that they can.
Start him.
