Bo Nix - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Fantasy football Week 8 rankings for RB, WR, TE, QB from the No. 2 most accurate ranker in 2025, Jamie Calandro. Read his fantasy rankings analysis and outlooks.

RotoBaller writer Jamie Calandro shares his Week 8 fantasy football lineup rankings for RB, WR, TE, and QB. After seven weeks, Jamie is still #2 on the leaderboard among the most accurate rankers in the industry -- and is here today to bring you his Week 8 rankings! This rankings article also includes rankings analysis that will hopefully help you make some tough decisions when it comes to sit/start. Jamie is also on X @jac3600 and in our RotoBaller Discord channel, answering questions.

Regular starting options are included to highlight that some of your must-start players have a good chance of supplying winning totals. Much of the analysis helps fantasy players make the tough decisions between two or more similarly valued players.

The rankings are updated as news breaks until the full slate begins on Sunday. Following the positional advice below, you can consult the player rankings tables. The fantasy football lineup rankings analysis is based on half-PPR scoring rules.

Bo Nix has 172 rushing yards (10th among QBs) and three rushing TDs (fourth), which gives him a solid floor before even throwing a pass. Dallas has allowed BY FAR the most FPPG to opposing QBs. Spencer Rattler needs to cut down on the TOs if he's to keep his job, but TB is a pass-funnel defense that's missing its top two pass-rushers this week. Rattler is a solid bye-week fill-in or QB2/SuperFlex.

Andy Dalton was a popular waiver addition for the QB-needy, but Buffalo is a much worse run defense than pass defense. Carolina has devolved into a total run-first team, and it's paid dividends, so don't expect a gaudy box score from Dalton. Jaxson Dart is basically matchup-proof thanks to his legs. He's averaged 44.5 rushing YPG so far this year and was the QB3 last week against the vaunted Denver defense.

C.J. Stroud is a firm sit for me this week. The Houston offense looks completely broken, and Stroud may be without both Nico Collins and Christian Kirk. Fire up the 49ers defense.

Rico Dowdle and Chuba Hubbard played a true 50/50 split in Hubbard's return last week, as Hubbard played eight more snaps but Dowdle had two more touches. Quinshon Judkins is obviously playing too well to sit, but bear in mind the floor is lower with Cleveland expecting to be behind all game. Jerome Ford is the passing back and could really cut into Judkins' touches this week.

Woody Marks is in a great spot this week. His 63% snap share was a season-high last week, and his pass-catching ability is great against San Francisco (fifth-most receptions allowed to RBs). On the flip side, Nick Chubb is a full-on sit in a game the Texans figure to trail the entire game.

Much like his teammate Dart, Cam Skattebo is matchup-proof due to his insane snap share and work in the passing game. He just cooked this Eagles team for three TDs (granted, they didn't have Jalen Carter, but still...). J.K. Dobbins is firmly holding off R.J. Harvey and Tyler Badie, and Dallas has allowed the fourth-most FPPG to RBs.

Isiah Pacheco is still a highly inefficient runner, but he's had 27 carries over the last two weeks and seems to have distanced himself in volume from the rest. The Chiefs are red hot and have an implied total of 28.5. TreVeyon Henderson has been a colossal disappointment this year and is borderline droppable if you need a player. Rhamondre Stevenson is the every-down back and is trusted in the passing game, so fire him up with confidence.

Jaylen Warren is the clear lead running back on early downs in Pittsburgh, as he outcarried Kenneth Gainwell 16-3. However, Gainwell is the passing back and is viable if desperate. Kaleb Johnson did not play a single snap against the Bengals.

George Pickens has bust potential against a Denver squad that's allowed the fewest FPPG to WRs. It's likely Patrick Surtain II shadows Pickens more than CeeDee Lamb, too. You're probably not sitting Pickens unless you're stacked at WR, but recognize the difficulty of the matchup.

Pay attention to A.J. Brown's status. He's missed practice all week with a hamstring injury, and DeVonta Smith is in a volcanic spot against the Giants if Brown sits (you can play Smith anyway, even if Brown goes). Stefon Diggs has a tough matchup against Cleveland, but his completion percentage is 89% on Drake Maye's throws.

Sauce Gardner is out for the Jets with a concussion, so it's wheels up for Ja'Marr Chase as my overall WR1. That's not news, but there should be no hesitancy in starting Tee Higgins in this matchup either. Tampa Bay has allowed the third-most completions of 20 yards or more, so Rashid Shaheed has major upside in this matchup.

Alec Pierce is worth a look for bye-week-hammered teams. He's averaging 19.8 YPC, and Tennessee is decimated by injury on defense. The Colts have an implied team total over 30 points. Tez Johnson has a 70% snap share over the past two weeks and has scored in both games. He's the best direct value off of Mike Evans, while Emeka Egbuka runs as the WR1.

Despite Lil'Jordan Humphrey logging a 96% snap share last week, Wan'Dale Robinson remains the only viable Giants WR to be trusted in lineups. Troy Franklin is a desperation play only. People will look at the Dallas matchup and immediately want to play him, but he's mostly fumbled away (sometimes literally) every opportunity he's been granted. Courtland Sutton is the only reliable Broncos' WR.

Over the past four weeks, Dalton Schultz has seen 27 targets while seeing his snap and route running share increase exponentially as the season has gone on. He's my TE3 for the week right now and is an amazing streamer this week. Expect a better week from George Kittle, who faced the league's top TE defense last game. San Francisco still has injury issues all over, and Kittle should regain his TE1 form.

With David Njoku expected back, neither he nor Harold Fannin Jr. can be trusted for a Browns squad that has a team total of 17 points. Evan Engram is a tough call. The matchup is prime against Dallas, and Denver has a team total of 27, but Engram still only logged a 56% snap share last week in a timeshare. He's fine as a bye-week fill-in.

Mason Taylor has put up two colossal duds recently, but his snap share is over 95% and he's conceivably the first-read option. You have to trust the Jets' offense, which is no easy feat, but the matchup against the Bengals is great. Juwan Johnson has felt the heat of Foster Moreau and Taysom Hill, but he's still a fringe TE1 in a great matchup against the Bucs.
