Week 6 Running Back Outlooks for Fantasy Football

Tank Bigsby, Jacksonville Jaguars - Fantasy Football Outlook

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby has decent upside in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears in London. Bigsby is coming off 101 rushing yards against the Colts, and with Travis Etienne Jr. banged up, he could be in for another big day this Sunday.

He faces the Bears' strong defense, but they are better against the pass than the run. The Jaguars may try to run the ball early and often, meaning utilizing Bigsby in what could be a timeshare with Etienne Jr. Bigsby's upside comes with the potential of Etienne Jr. missing the game altogether or at least being limited even more than last week.

The young back out of Ole Miss has shown capable of producing with limited production, so fantasy managers should be intrigued to see what he can do with more opportunities. Bigsby serves as a high-risk, high-reward option for fantasy managers at the shallow running back position in Week 6.

- Seth Quinn, RotoBaller

Austin Ekeler, Washington Commanders - Fantasy Football Outlook

Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler should be viewed as a solid flex option in PPR formats this weekend as they will face the Baltimore Ravens in what could be a very high-scoring affair. After missing Week 4 with a concussion, Ekeler looked strong in Week 5 as he ran for a season-high 67 yards on six carries.

He added 30 yards on two receptions. Ekeler has seen at least two targets in every game and ran double-digit routes in three out of the four games he has played in. In addition, Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game, which could further increase Ekeler's opportunities. If Robinson is unable to play, Ekeler should be viewed as a high-end RB2.

- Andy Smith, RotoBaller

Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals - Fantasy Football Outlook

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the New York Giants. Brown appeared on the injury report on Thursday after logging a limited practice session and remained in the same capacity on Friday.

Earlier on Friday, head coach Zac Taylor said that Brown is expected to play. Fantasy managers should monitor his status over the weekend in case he faces a set back. Brown has seen double-digit carries in consecutive games and remains a high-upside flex option this weekend facing the New York Giants.

- Andy Smith, RotoBaller
