Anthony Richardson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL News

RotoBaller's updated Week 2 quarterback (QB) rankings for fantasy football in 2024. Read the weekend updates for our fantasy football QB rankings and win more.

Many fantasy managers opt to wait on a quarterback in fantasy drafts, which sets them up to play the streaming game each week at the position. If you picked an early quarterback, he's probably a must-start stud, but otherwise, it's time to make a key start-or-sit call at QB. We're here to help with our updated Week 2 fantasy football quarterback rankings for 2024. Let's see where quarterbacks such as Anthony Richardson, Matthew Stafford, Joe Burrow, Baker Mayfield, and more rank, among others.

Our quarterback fantasy football rankings for Week 2 are put together by Nick Mariano, Brandon Murchinson, Scott Engel, and Andersen Pickard. In addition to our staff rankings, below you will also find a summary of the important fantasy football injury news for this week. Week 2 Quarterback Outlooks for Fantasy Football

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals - Fantasy Football Outlook

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (wrist) said that his surgically-repaired right wrist is not impacting his ability to throw the ball down the field. Burrow was seen flexing his right wrist on the sideline of the Week 1 upset loss to the New England Patriots, but he said it's normal, and he does it all the time to keep the joint loose after his offseason surgery.

The 27-year-old practiced in full on Wednesday and will be ready to roll for a tough Week 2 date this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Burrow struggled mightily in the season opener without receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) and after not practicing with Ja'Marr Chase at all during training camp and the preseason.

Higgins could miss another game this weekend. We're expecting Burrow and Cincy's offense to eventually figure it out, but after the ugly Week 1 performance, Burrow is more on the QB2 radar than the QB1 for fantasy managers.

- Dennis Clausen, RotoBaller

Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Fantasy Football Outlook

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is coming off a fantastic season opener against the Washington Commanders. Mayfield threw for 289 yards with four touchdowns in what ended up being a blowout win for Tampa Bay.

The former first-round pick was nearly flawless with only six incomplete passes during the opener. He looks to keep the good times rolling against the Detroit Lions in Week 2. Mayfield will have a tougher challenge in Week 2 but remains a solid fantasy choice.

The Lions defense allowed the 10th-most points per game last season. Mayfield should be considered a low-end QB1 for this game.

- Andy Webb, RotoBaller

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams - Fantasy Football Outlook

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was one of just two quarterbacks in the NFL to surpass 300 yards passing in Week 1. Stafford did so against the Lions, going 34-of-49 passing for 317 yards with a touchdown pass and an interception.

The first thing that stands out about Stafford's Week 1 line is his 49 attempts. With Puka Nacua (knee) exiting early from that game, Stafford still threw the ball a ton and targeted Cooper Kupp a whopping 21 times. He might not be called upon to pass as much in Week 2 at Arizona, but he should be primed for another efficient afternoon.

The Stafford-to-Kupp connection is firing on all cylinders, and the veteran quarterback should be able to spread some production around to tight end Colby Parkinson as well as the receiving trio of Tyler Johnson, Demarcus Robinson, and Tutu Atwell. The Cardinals' defense is beatable, and while the Rams could lean more on the run game, Stafford should be a borderline QB1 in an exploitable matchup.
