Week 13 Running Back Outlooks for Fantasy Football

Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans - Fantasy Football Outlook

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard is coming off one of his best performances of the season, amassing 119 yards and a touchdown off 24 carries, adding three catches for 10 yards in the win over the Houston Texans. After a few rough weeks, fantasy managers were certainly thrilled to see him turn things around.

However, Pollard has had some uneventful showings during the 2024-25 campaign, so he's far from a sure thing from a fantasy standpoint. Still, the 27-year-old should be considered a starting fantasy option in nearly any fantasy format imaginable for the Week 13 matchup versus the Washington Commanders.

- Dennis Clausen, RotoBaller

Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers - Fantasy Football Outlook

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard has found the end zone in three consecutive games. Facing the season's home stretch and a Week 13 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hubbard has easily been among the great fantasy value players of the year.

He played his way to a four-year extension and has only seen increased reps as the year has drawn on, playing in a season-high 89% of snaps last week. While rookie running back Jonathon Brooks debuted last week, Hubbard still took the bulk of the workload and can be expected to continue doing so. RotoBaller's latest rankings have him as RB16 this week.

- Travis Kincaid, RotoBaller

Gus Edwards, Los Angeles Chargers - Fantasy Football Outlook

Los Angeles Chargers running back Gus Edwards is expected to get the start in a Week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Edwards spent some time on IR this season, but even when healthy, he's played mostly a depth role behind starter J.K. Dobbins (knee).

With Dobbins out this week, though, Edwards should get bumped up to the starting role, at least on clear rushing downs. He's not a factor in the passing game, so his usage will be somewhat game-script-dependent, and he may need to find the end zone to put up a significant fantasy score.

Last week, after Dobbins was injured, Edwards played a lot of early downs, but Hassan Haskins was in for passing plays and red zone drives. Edwards is a risky play with a somewhat high floor but not a high ceiling.

- David A. Marcillo, RotoBaller
