Top 50 Catcher Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Roto Leagues - March Updates

Ivan Herrera - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Updated fantasy baseball catcher (C) rankings for 2025 roto league drafts, as of March. Read our top 50 tiered C rankings for fantasy baseball drafts.

At RotoBaller HQ, we are providing fantasy baseball content and updated rankings up until Opening Day. Our freshly-updated rankings series continues with our latest 2025 fantasy baseball catcher rankings and tiers for roto leagues (5x5 category mixed leagues). Catchers are not as weak in fantasy as in years past, but fantasy managers should prioritize the position in two-catcher leagues. We break it all down in our freshly updated top 50 catcher rankings.

Milwaukee Brewers catcher Williams Contreras leads the way in our catcher rankings after hitting 23 homers and driving in 99 runs through 679 plate appearances last season. In two-catcher formats, his ADP is bumped up to the second rounds in some drafts, proving how valuable he is in that format. St. Louis Cardinals catcher Ivan Herrera (.348/.484/.739) and New York Yankees catcher Austin Wells (.355/.422/.710) continue to climb up on draft boards as both are swinging hot bats in spring training. So, where do the rest of the catchers fit into these rankings?

The shortstop rankings below are specifically designed for traditional roto leagues (5x5 categories), put together by MLB team lead Nick Mariano. We also have many other rankings for various league formats, and 17 different rankings types to choose from. Some of the most popular ones are highlighted below.
