Two-Start Pitcher Streamers (Week 13): Head-to-Head Leagues

As a new week is upon us, it's time to get rid of that bench bat or middle reliever you have hanging around. Instead, maximize your roster slots with some pitchers who have two starts this week and are probably still available in your league.

Here are the top two-start pitchers to stream for Week 13 of the fantasy baseball season. This can be especially helpful for head-to-head (H2H) leagues, where every start can be that much more valuable. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder.

As always, I will be selecting starting pitchers who are owned in 50% or less of ESPN leagues.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball draft tools and resources:

Under the Radar Two-Start SP Streamers - Week 13

Alex Cobb, Tampa Bay Rays – owned in 33.1% of ESPN leagues

Projected starts: @PIT, @BAL

Ever since getting rocked for nine earned runs at the start of the month, Rays starter Alex Cobb has been lockdown on the mound, with a 2.29 ERA in his last three starts. Cobb doesn't get many strikeouts, but can provide valuable innings to keep your ERA and WHIP down against two weak opponents in Week 13. He first travels to Pittsburgh to face a Pirates team with a .313 wOBA against righties, which is 23rd in the league. Cobb then faces Baltimore, whose .318 mark isn't much better, putting them at 20th. With both starts coming against bottom-third lineups, Cobb should have no trouble giving your team some strong starts.

Hyun-Jin Ryu, Los Angeles Dodgers – owned in 10.0% of ESPN leagues

Projected starts: vs. LAA, @SD

Dodgers starter Hyun-Jin Ryu is coming off of two solid starts, with five innings and two earned runs both times out. He is settling back in to a starter's role as he enters Week 13, where he gets two fantastic matchups. The Angels have just a .300 team wOBA against lefties, putting them at 22nd in all of baseball. Ryu also heads to San Diego to face the Padres, who are the worst lineup in the league against southpaws, with a pathetic .279 wOBA. They also strike out a ton at 24.5% against lefties, which will pair well with Ryu's 21.0% K-rate this year. Given these two matchups, it's tough to avoid Ryu.

Joe Biagini, Toronto Blue Jays – owned in 6.1% of ESPN leagues

Projected starts: vs. BAL, vs. BOS

It's always intimidating to start an AL East pitcher against two teams within the division, but Joe Biagini's matchups aren't actually as tough as they look. The Orioles and the Red Sox have both disappointed this season, and are actually below league-average offenses. The Orioles have a .318 wOBA versus righties while the Red Sox are at .319, putting them at 20th and 18th, respectively. As for Biagini himself, the ERA isn't pretty at 4.45, but his 3.25 FIP suggests that he's been quite unlucky. He has a very low 58.0% strand rate, so his performance should improve with positive regression there. At such a low ownership rate, now is a great time to buy low on Biagini.

Bartolo Colon, Atlanta Braves – owned in 5.2% of ESPN leagues

Projected starts: @SD, @OAK

This is only a play for super deep formats, but Braves starter Bartolo Colon has a chance at providing some strong innings in Week 13. If Colon's back is feeling healthy, he may be able to return to his 2016 form, when he had a 3.43 ERA in 191.2 innings. It hasn't been nearly that good this year, although that may just be due to his injury issues. Colon has two easy matchups this week, the first against a Padres lineup with a .297 wOBA against righties, the second lowest mark in the league. Colon also gets Oakland, who is 19th at .318. Both of these starts are at incredibly pitcher-friendly ballparks, as well. If you're in an NL-only or very deep league and willing to take the risk, Colon could pay off for you.
