The Minnesota Twins recalled outfielder Trevor Larnach on Tuesday. While he has shown more power of late, swing-and-miss issues combined with little speed should keep him on the waiver wire for now.

ANALYSIS: The Minnesota Twins recalled outfielder Trevor Larnach from Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday after he completed his minor-league rehab assignment following a bout with turf toe. The 27-year-old went 2-for-11 with a double and a pair of walks across 14 trips to the plate while playing all three of his rehab games with Single-A Fort Myers.
Larnach appeared in 58 games with the Twins last season and hit .213 with eight homers and one stolen base across 212 trips to the plate. He finally showed some power at Triple-A a season ago where he slugged 15 homers in 72 games, good for a quality .233 isolated power. While he has a patient approach with a 12.7% BB% from last season, he also struck out in 34% of his plate appearances and owns a 33.6% K% across 188 career big-league outings.
The rehabbing Trevor Larnach hit a two-run double off the rehabbing Taijuan Walker. Kinda handy it worked out that he could face a big league pitcher. pic.twitter.com/4i3QftrhQk

The swing-and-miss issues along with a total lack of stolen base upside put a hard cap on Larnach's fantasy value. The power has shown up a bit and the walks are good but he has a middling 20 homers in 188 career games. We aren't talking light-tower power, here.
Larnach is best left on the wire for now until he can cut down on the strikeouts and add more home run power to his game.
