Brian Robinson Jr. - RB, Washington Commanders

Brian Robinson Jr. has enjoyed a fine season in 2024. Unfortunately, he left yesterday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys with an ankle injury.

He would walk off the field under his power and would eventually return to the game. However, he later aggravated the injury and was unable to return.

Gamers will need to monitor Washington’s injury report throughout the week, just in case Robinson misses Week 13. Given what happened to Washington's other back, Austin Ekeler, in this game, there is a possibility that Jeremy McNichols would be the Commanders lead back in next week's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Austin Ekeler - RB, Washington Commanders

Austin Ekeler suffered a concussion late in Sunday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

This was a bad loss for the Commanders, and it’s even worse that they lost Ekeler so late in the game. His status is up in the air for his next game in Week 13. Ekeler's absence would push fellow back Brian Robinson Jr. into nearly an every-down role. However, Robinson suffered an ankle injury in the loss, and his status is also unknown.

Washington takes on the Tennessee Titans next week. It’s a tough matchup, but Robinson would be close to an auto-start if he plays and Ekeler is sidelined. If both backs miss the game, then the aforementioned McNichols would be a viable flex play.

David Montgomery - RB, Detroit Lions

David Montgomery found the end zone for the 11th time yesterday against the Indianapolis Colts. Unfortunately, he also suffered a shoulder injury.

The sixth-year back was seen jogging to the locker room without his shoulder pads. However, he would later return to the sidelines in full gear. He did not return to the game, but it looked like he could have returned if needed. It’s possible the Lions chose to hold Montgomery out since they’re on a short week and play on Thursday.

Keep an eye on Detroit's practice reports throughout the week, as that will give us a better grasp of Montgomery’s status. Jahmyr Gibbs would be a top-tier RB1 should Montgomery miss Thursday’s game.

Baker Mayfield - QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield led Tampa Bay to a blowout victory over the hapless New York Giants. Unfortunately, he also suffered a stinger and was forced to leave the game.

His status for Week 13 is currently unknown, so we will need to monitor Tampa Bay’s practice reports. Should he miss time, it would downgrade all of Tampa Bay’s skill players for gamers' critical Week 13 matchups. Stingers can be tricky, so we won’t know more until later in the week.

Keep an eye on his status and be prepared just in case he misses this Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

Josh Downs - WR, Indianapolis Colts

Josh Downs left yesterday’s game with a shoulder injury.

Luckily, it wasn’t anything too serious, as he returned to the game. This was good to see, as Downs has had a nice sophomore season. He should be fine going forward, but gamers should still monitor Downs' practice status this week just to be sure. Indianapolis takes on the Patriots in Week 13. Downs will be a WR2 option, assuming he plays.

Josh Jacobs - RB, Green Bay Packers

Jacobs had a banner day yesterday against the 49ers. He ran for 106 yards and three touchdowns as Green Bay destroyed San Francisco, 38-10.

He did briefly leave the game due to cramping, but he returned and still had a great day. Jacobs should be fine going forward and has a date against the Miami Dolphins this Thursday on Thanksgiving night.

Romeo Doubs - WR, Green Bay Packers

Romeo Doubs suffered a concussion in last night’s game against the 49ers.

With the Packers playing on a short week, it’s highly unlikely Doubs will play in Week 13. Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Dontayvion Wicks should see an increase in targets with Doubs likely out of action. Tight end Tucker Kraft, who found the end zone yesterday for the sixth time this year, could also see a larger role with Doubs sidelined. The third-year receiver should return in Week 14 and be a viable streaming candidate.

Sam Darnold - QB, Minnesota Vikings

Darnold had another solid outing in a victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. He threw for 330 yards and two touchdowns.

He also suffered an injury late in the game and was forced to miss a few plays.

Darnold did return to help close out the victory, so he is probably fine for Week 13. Gamers should still monitor the RotoBaller newsfeed for updates on his status just in case his injury worsens during the week.

Gardner Minshew II - QB, Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders' current QB1 left last night’s loss to the Denver Broncos following a hit late in the game.

He suffered a broken collarbone and will miss the rest of the year. Gardner Minshew hasn’t been on the fantasy radar this year but has had some value in superflex and two quarterback leagues.

Desmond Ridder took over for Minshew yesterday and is next in line at quarterback. Ridder was disastrous for the Atlanta Falcons skill players last year, so his presence could negatively impact the value of Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers.

Aidan O’Connell is also eligible to return from injured reserve this week. He may take over as the Raiders starter if he’s activated. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network also reported that Las Vegas was a possible landing spot for Daniel Jones. Either player would be a better option than Ridder. We will know more about the Las Vegas quarterback situation in a few days.

Saquon Barkley - RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Saquon Barkley took a hard hit in last night's game against the Los Angeles Rams and was forced to leave the game. Fortunately for the Eagles and fantasy managers everywhere, Barkley would return to the game. This doesn't look like it was anything too serious, as Barkley accumulated an absurd 302 yards from scrimmage and scored two touchdowns.

The seventh-year running back has had a tremendous season and looks to be a true league-winner down the home stretch. He should be fine for a Week 13 showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.
