Tight Ends Waiver Wire - Week 11 Pickups and Adds

While there were plenty of movers and shakers on the fantasy scene, the tight end position didn't see as much volatility. Injuries have been the biggest story in the tight end world, but the tight ends remained healthy, at least during this past week.

So here we are, feverishly looking to analyze statistics and projections to justify an addition to our fantasy football teams.

Below are my Week 11 waiver wire adds for tight ends. Following this past week's games, this is a list of tight ends you should consider adding to your roster.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Tight End Waiver Wire Pickups - Week 11

Garrett Celek (TE, SF) - 2% owned (FAAB Bid: 1%)

Admittedly, the bulk of Garrett Celek's production came on one really long touchdown last week. More importantly, Celek saw six targets as the 49ers' primary TE. His value takes a slight hit as his team is off this week, but that shouldn't shy TE needy owners away from grabbing him in advance of his week 12 game against a decimated Seattle defense.

C.J. Fiedorowicz (TE, HOU) - 13% owned (FAAB Bid: 1%)

Fiedorowicz returned from injury and caught two early passes on Sunday. He didn't do anything else afterwards. This actually isn't the worst thing to happen to him. His immediate usage and the fact that he saw six targets is encouraging, as is the fact that Tom Savage can't stretch the field. His low fantasy output should keep him under the radar and allow for cheaper acquisition. The Cardinals are awful against the TE making CJF a viable option this week and likely going forward as well.

Deeper League Options

Jermaine Gresham (TE, ARI) - 1% owned (FAAB Bid: 0%)

I don't like chasing last week's points, especially after they came against Seattle, a team weak against the TE. With that being said, the Cardinals get the Texans this week. To quote Bart Scott, "they couldn't stop a nose bleed." Gresham has now scored in consecutive games and saw seven targets last Thursday. With 10 days to rest up and a favorable matchup, Gresham is on the radar for deep league owners.

Seth Devalve (TE, CLE) - 0% owned (FAAB Bid: 0%)

It's become abundantly clear that it's not going to happen for David Njoku as a rookie. Quietly, Seth Devalve has actually been a consistent part of the Browns "offense." He's coming off a season high 70 yards on a season high four catches on a season high six targets. Admittedly, you would be picking him up following his best game of the season. Although he's only caught more than two passes twice, he has seen at least three targets in every game this season and has never actually scored zero. In deeper leagues for those in need of someone to fill the position, at least Devalve has a shot.

Must Hold Tight Ends

The following players are a complete and exhaustive list of all the Tight Ends you absolutely cannot drop. Anyone not listed below can be safely cut.

Initially, I was going to list a couple names that you can drop if you needed to. Upon review of the state of the tight end position, I am amending my approach on the fly. If your TE is not found listed below, that does not mean you should run out and drop him right now. Don't do that. Just understand that if you had to drop him, you should not feel compelled to keep him because of something like ownership percentage or name value.
