As the season wears on, this list will feature more name brand players that you may have trouble letting go. Peyton Manning owners remember all too well how a big name can derail an entire season if you refuse to accept that he simply no longer has value. The names on this list no longer have fantasy value.
Each week from now until the end of the season, I’ll be offering my thoughts on players who don’t deserve to keep a roster spot on your fantasy football teams. Below are my Week 14 cuts and drops for fantasy football.

Players to Consider Dropping or Replacing
Danny Amendola (WR, NE)
Danny Amendola did have eight catches for 66 yards and a touchdown three weeks ago. He also failed to exceed four receptions or 40 receiving yards in any other game from week 6 onward. Amendola simply isn't a big part of the offense and the Chris Hogan injury clearly did nothing to boost Amendola's stock. You are not starting Amendola so that means you can drop him.
Vernon Davis (TE, WAS)
Well, that was fun while it lasted. The Vernon Davis resurgence is over. Kirk Cousins simply does not look at Davis - at all. Davis is an irrelevant piece of the offense. He's seen a combined three targets over the past two games. You cannot in good conscience send him out there week 1 of the playoffs and if you're not starting him in week 14, he's not worth rostering.
Corey Davis (WR, TEN)
It's not coming - not this year. Corey Davis' talent is undeniable, but his breakout is going to have to wait. His target count has gone from 10 four weeks ago to seven to four to four and he has yet to break double digits in PPR. The Titans passing attack just doesn't feature enough volume. Davis is going to be an elite WR1 in this league at some point in his career. Unfortunately, it won't be in 2017.
Jacquizz Rodgers (RB, TB)
Doug Martin didn't play with a concussion. Jacquizz Rodgers might as well have not played either. He carried the ball all of three times compared to Peyton Barber, who touched the ball 27 times. I think it's clear where each man lies in the running back hierarchy. Rodgers was never particularly talented; he was just the right guy in the right place at the right time. None of that appears to apply anymore. He was worth the pickup when Martin got hurt. Now, he's no longer worth the roster spot.
