I normally don't find myself backing chalky choices that have missed more than half their cuts over the last two months, but Robert MacIntyre's upside at his hometown course was too tantalizing to ignore.
MacIntyre ranked fifth in my model for expected scoring at the Renaissance Club, which includes three top-18 finishes at the track over the last four years and a second-place rank for Expected Proximity from outside 200+ yards.

Byron Lindeque - Davis Thompson
A swing and a miss with Adam Schenk has us taking an even bigger swing on this week’s option, Davis Thompson. I doubt anybody really fancies his chances of going back-to-back after his dub at the JDC. However, I am here to tell you to fear the Deere (winner) and take a gamble on Davis who finished inside the top-10 at the US Open which had a bit of a linksy feel to it. He has an abundance of length off the tee, long irons that he stripes like a Herbie Fully Loaded beatle, and the short game that saw him beat the field by four strokes last week.
Yes, this is a high risk option, but if you are like me and have forgotten to enter a bunch of my OAD entries, we are looking for a hail mary in the form of Davis Thompson.
