1 day agoJosh Quinlan (6-2) is set to take on Adam Fugitt on the main card of UFC Vegas 93 on Saturday. Quinlan is coming off a TKO loss to Danny Barlow back in February in a fight he took a ton of damage in after dropping a decision to Trey Waters before that. Despite being on a two-fight losing streak, Quinlan is a slight favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $8,300. His lone win in the UFC came in his debut by first-round knockout. In his career, Quinlan has won all his fights by stoppage. If Quinlan loses here, he could be released from the promotion.--Cole SheltonSource: UFC

1 day agoAdam Fugitt (9-4) is set to take on Josh Quinlan at UFC Vegas 93 on Saturday. Fugitt hasn't fought since last June, when he suffered a submission loss to Mike Malott after he pulled off an upset by scoring a first-round knockout over Yusaku Kinoshita. Fugitt is 1-2 in the UFC and enters the bout as the underdog with a salary of $7,900. If Fugitt loses, he would drop to 1-3 and likely would be released from the promotion. In his career, he has won eight times by stoppage but has been finished three times.--Cole SheltonSource: UFC

1 day agoDouglas Silva de Andrade (29-5, one no-contest) is set to take on Miles Johns on the main card of UFC Vegas 93 on Saturday. The Brazilian is coming off an upset win over Cody Stamann last May, and the 38-year-old has been off for more than a year. Entering this fight, DraftKings has de Andrade with a salary of $8,200. In the UFC, the Brazilian is 7-5 with three wins by stoppage. In  his five losses, he's been finished just twice. If de Andrade can beat Johns, the Brazilian could get a ranked opponent next time out.--Cole SheltonSource: UFC
Share:
1 day agoMiles Johns (14-2, one no-contest) is set to take on Douglas Silva de Andrade on the main card of UFC Vegas 93. Johns is coming off a decision win over Cody Gibson back in March and will be returning just three months later. Since changing gyms, Johns has found success and is 3-1 with one no-contest in his last four fights. DraftKings has Johns at a salary of $8,000, while in the UFC, the bantamweight contender is 5-2 with one no-contest and has finished two of his five wins. He's been finished just one time. If he beats de Andrade, he should get a ranked opponent next time out.--Cole SheltonSource: UFC

1 day agoTimmy Cuamba (8-2) will be making the walk to the Octagon for the second time as he looks for his first UFC win when he takes on Lucas Almeida at UFC Vegas 93. Cuamba stepped up on short notice up a weight class at lightweight in February and lost a split decision to Bolaji Oki. He now returns to his natural weight class of featherweight to face Almeida. Heading into the fight, Cuamba is the favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $8,800. In his career, Cuamba has won four of his eight wins by knockout while he has been finished once in his career.--Cole SheltonSource: UFC
Share:
1 day agoLucas Almeida (14-3) is set to face Timmy Cuamba on the main card of UFC Vegas 93 on Saturday. With Almeida being on a two-fight losing streak, he enters his UFC Vegas 93 fight as the underdog as DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,400. Almeida is 1-2 in the UFC with his lone winning coming by knockout as he is a kill-or-be-killed fighter. However, he is fighting for his job on Saturday as a loss on Saturday likely results in his release.--Cole SheltonSource: UFC

4 days agoThe main event of UFC Louisville featured a back-and-forth battle between Jared Cannonier and Nassourdine Imavov where Imavov scored a controversial fourth-round TKO. Imavov landed a big punch that hurt Cannonier but he managed to recover quickly. Unfortunately for Cannonier, the referee decided to stop the fight. Most of the fans and experts thought that the stoppage was way too early. At 16:34 of action, Cannonier landed a takedown and 64 significant strikes. We just might see these two run it back again, hopefully without controversy the next time they fight. With the loss, Cannonier's MMA record drops to 17-7.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBallerSource: UFC
