Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski piled up a career-high five points in Thursday's 7-6 overtime victory against Tampa Bay. Led by Werenski, the Blue Jackets were able to battle back from a 3-0 deficit, with him scoring the decisive goal in overtime. Werenski finished the contest with two goals and three assists, becoming the first defenseman in franchise history to log at least five points in a single game. The five-point effort also matches the Blue Jackets' single-game record for all players. Columbus has started to score goals for fun lately, and it's helped Werenski to put together a four-game point streak. He's averaging a point per game for the season, with six goals and 13 on his name through 19 outings. Only Colorado's Cale Makar (28) boasts more points among blue-liners.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
