Zach Pascal 2021 Outlook: Opening To Show Out
3 years ago26-year-old Colts receiver Zach Pascal is coming off his best NFL season... but barely. The WR posted 44 receptions for 629 yards and five scores on 71 targets in his third professional season in 2020. He posted career-highs in receptions and receiving yards and finished second on the Colts in receiving yards. There may be hope he can continue his ascension in this league and on this team now that Carson Wentz is under center. Last year, the Colts didn't have much WR firepower as Parris Campbell went down for the season with an MCL injury in Week 2 and then-rookie Michael Pittman Jr. was still adjusting to the league (though his season numbers were nearly the same as Pascal). That being said, Campbell enters 2021 healthy, and Pittman figures to be a bigger part of this offense with one year under his belt. Aside from those two though, Pascal enters the season as a top-three WR for this team with veteran T.Y. Hilton expected to miss time due to a disk injury. This opens up a chance for Pascal to thrive and have a terrific campaign due to more targets likely coming his way. Entering this season, he should be considered the WR2 on the team with Hilton out. That bodes well for him having a true breakout season. Given a potentially larger role on this team, Pascal should be considered a flex piece for your fantasy team.
