Zach Neto Exits Saturday's Game Early With Calf Tightness
6 months agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto (calf) was removed from Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers with left calf tightness. He injured himself on a sliding stop of a ground ball. The 23-year-old also fouled a ball off his leg earlier in the game. Neto was able to walk off under his power. He went 0-for-1 with a strikeout before exiting. Michael Stefanic replaced him in the fourth inning. The severity of Neto's injury is unknown, and he is considered day-to-day. Stefanic should see an uptick in at-bats with Neto sidelined, but he is not on the fantasy radar after slashing .231/.310/.269 over eight games in 2024.
