Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman became a member of the 50-goal club on Sunday despite dropping a 5-3 decision to the Ottawa Senators. The 31-year-old reached the landmark with a second-period tally 3:34 into the middle frame. Hyman has spent the bulk of the season skating alongside Connor McDavid, posting 69 points to this point, but will have a tough time exceeding the 83 points he put up across 79 games last season. The Oilers dropped their second game in as many nights on Sunday after taking a 6-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. They sit second in the Pacific Division with a 42-23-4 record, three points clear of third-place Los Angeles.--Brenton Kemp
