Zach Charbonnet Solid In A Starting Role
3 months agoSeattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet had a solid day against the New England Patriots in Week 2. Charbonnet finished with 38 rushing yards and a touchdown along with five receptions for 31 yards. Charbonnet was highly inefficient on the ground yet again but his work in the passing game gave him a comfortable floor. Most notably, Charbonnet was a true workhorse as No. 3 running back Kenny McIntosh only received two offensive snaps. Charbonnet should be entrenched in starting lineups as long as Kenneth Walker III (oblique) misses time. However, once Walker returns it will be interesting to see how this backfield is broken down.
